CLS provided visioning/master planning services, a financial analysis, architectural/interior design and senior living construction management for this independent living and assisted living project.
Project Challenges
- Continue operating during the 18-month project
- Eliminate confusion due to the lack of visibility from the main thoroughfare
- Improve traffic flow by altering the single, congested entrance
Project Process
CLS and the Pines Village team collaborated on a master plan that focused on transplanting and transforming the facility’s core area into a town center that is now a multi-purpose space used for social activities.

- The back of the facility overlooks a beautiful pond and walking trail
- Large windows and natural light brighten mealtime
- Residents and guests now have communal space to gather
- Beautiful door surrounds and archways welcome residents home
- Large apartments with attached garages appeal to a broader, younger demographic
